CCA Lego robotics Club Open House 2/19/11

We went to CCA for a Lego Robotics Open House last night. I'm not old enough this year but I can still go to the team meetings and learn for next year!

HACC's Engineering Kids College 2/19/11

Inuit Soap Carving

In Social Studies I am learning about Inuits. I got a book from the library called First Americans The Inuit by David C. King. On pages 38-39 there is a project for soap carving. I completed a carving of a bunny in Ivory soap. He is very cool!!

Social Studies

I learned about Vikings on Time4Learning and made 3 lapbooks about them. I really love the movie "How to Train Your Dragon" and I learned that some things from the movie, like horns on the helmets is not what they really had. I looked on Brainpop to see if they had a movie about Vikings but they didn't. So I submitted a question and Brainpop actually made a movie about Vikings!!
